Wednesday Homework

Reading: Students need to read for 20 minutes out of a Reading Counts book.
Students with Reading Folders need to read 10 pages orally, practice their fluency passage, and get a signature on their folder.

Math: 6 Division Problems. Each problem needs to be done using the Traditional Method and the Area Method. In addition, students need to check their answer using multiplication. Our division unit test is Friday.

Remember to read and get your green Read-a-Thon slips signed and turned in each day!!!

I have been teaching 4th grade at Ridgeview for over 20 years! One important thing I have learned over the years is EVERYTHING CHANGES :) And I believe that is an important life skill to learn. I love my job! There is nothing better than spending the day with 9 and 10 year olds. I learn from my students each and every day and pride myself in being a life long learner. Besides being a 4th grade teacher, I am a daughter, sister, mother, and am proud to be a grandmother (MeeMee) to 4 beautiful grandchildren under 6 years of age. I am excited to be starting a new year and I am looking forward to being your child's fourth grade teacher. We will have a fabulous year!
