Math: Determining Change #8 Grade 4 Field Day is June 10th! Our time is 1:00-2:30 pm. If you are available to supervise, please contact Ms. Abbott as soon as possible. These sentences need to be in printing and need to be completed neatly. Papers that are not quality 4th grade work will need to be re-done. Students who previously ordered yearbooks will receive their yearbook on Wednesday, June 10th in time for our end of the year autograph party. Limited quantities of yearbooks are still available. If your student would like a yearbook and you did not previously order one, please send $12.00 cash to me with your student and I will do my best to secure a yearbook for your student. I do not know how many yearbooks are still available. All yearbooks will be given on a first-come basis. Students who do not buy a yearbook will still participate in the autograph party. Spelling: CCC with parent signature. All students have different word lists depending on their reading group: Resource students who are assigned reading in their Resource room will not do a CCC for Room 13. Room 16 students have a list of Rebecca Sitton's HFW words, and Room 13 and Room 17 reading students are responsible for both HFW words and the words in their basal reader. A spelling test on both lists will be given on Friday. Reading: Students with reading folders need to read 10 pages orally and get a parent signature on their folder. Nina AbbottI have been teaching 4th grade at Ridgeview for over 20 years! One important thing I have learned over the years is EVERYTHING CHANGES :) And I believe that is an important life skill to learn. I love my job! There is nothing better than spending the day with 9 and 10 year olds. I learn from my students each and every day and pride myself in being a life long learner. Besides being a 4th grade teacher, I am a daughter, sister, mother, and am proud to be a grandmother (MeeMee) to 4 beautiful grandchildren under 6 years of age.
