Wednesday Homework

Reading: Read 10 pages orally and students with a reading folder need to get a parent signature on the folder and practice their fluency passage.

Language Arts: Students need to write their vocabulary sentences for this week's 6 vocabulary words.

Spelling: Our weekly spelling test is tomorrow because of the furlough day on Friday. This week's words were sent home on Monday. They are from Theme 1's story, Finding the Titanic.

I have been teaching 4th grade at Ridgeview for over 20 years! One important thing I have learned over the years is EVERYTHING CHANGES :) And I believe that is an important life skill to learn. I love my job! There is nothing better than spending the day with 9 and 10 year olds. I learn from my students each and every day and pride myself in being a life long learner. Besides being a 4th grade teacher, I am a daughter, sister, mother, and am proud to be a grandmother (MeeMee) to 4 beautiful grandchildren under 6 years of age. I am excited to be starting a new year and I am looking forward to being your child's fourth grade teacher. We will have a fabulous year!
