Reading: Students with reading folders need to read 10 pages orally and get a parent signature on their reading folder.

Reading: Vocabulary Sentences with this week's vocabulary words: bunkhouse, lumberjacks, cords, immense, timber, and landscape

Writing: Students need to finish their Fairy Tale Stories tonight with a beginning, middle, and end to their stories. Tomorrow we will edit and begin our final copies.

I have been teaching 4th grade at Ridgeview for over 20 years! One important thing I have learned over the years is EVERYTHING CHANGES :) And I believe that is an important life skill to learn. I love my job! There is nothing better than spending the day with 9 and 10 year olds. I learn from my students each and every day and pride myself in being a life long learner. Besides being a 4th grade teacher, I am a daughter, sister, mother, and am proud to be a grandmother (MeeMee) to 4 beautiful grandchildren under 6 years of age. I am excited to be starting a new year and I am looking forward to being your child's fourth grade teacher. We will have a fabulous year!
