Reading: Read 10 pages orally. Students with a reading folder also need to practice their new fluency passage. Vocabulary and/or spelling assignments that were not finished in class today were sent home to be finished.
Room 13 students are bringing home their first Reading Counts report. Goals for each quarter are set by the students' reading teachers and this has not happened yet, but will at our next planning session. Your student should be able to explain most of the information on the report as we talked about it at length today in class. Please feel free to call me with any questions your student can not answer. I have made it a class assignment to have this form signed by a parent and returned tomorrow.
Math: Multiplication Strategies page 35 only and Lesson 3 pages 5/6. Students will be taking a X6 test tomorrow and we will begin X7 and X8 next week.
