Reading: Students with reading folders need to read 10 pages orally and get a parent signature on their folder. Students also need to practice their fluency passage.

Math: Complete Division Packet

Spelling: Friday Spelling Test

We have been working on writing Fairy Tales as part of our Genre study in reading. Students need to have an edited rough draft ready for final publication tomorrow. We will be working on final copies, illustrations, and covers in class on Friday.

I have been teaching 4th grade at Ridgeview for over 20 years! One important thing I have learned over the years is EVERYTHING CHANGES :) And I believe that is an important life skill to learn. I love my job! There is nothing better than spending the day with 9 and 10 year olds. I learn from my students each and every day and pride myself in being a life long learner. Besides being a 4th grade teacher, I am a daughter, sister, mother, and am proud to be a grandmother (MeeMee) to 4 beautiful grandchildren under 6 years of age. I am excited to be starting a new year and I am looking forward to being your child's fourth grade teacher. We will have a fabulous year!
