I did in fact assign homework tonight because several students still have not finished their "Who am I ?" beginning of the year writing sample. We spent time on it in class yesterday and today. Students need to skip lines and fill the front and half of the back of the page. They have a page of sentence starters to help them get started. They do not need to use all of the sentence starters, and they may add ideas of their own. We will edit the papers tomorrow and write our final copies.

Nina AbbottI have been teaching 4th grade at Ridgeview for over 20 years! One important thing I have learned over the years is EVERYTHING CHANGES :) And I believe that is an important life skill to learn. I love my job! There is nothing better than spending the day with 9 and 10 year olds. I learn from my students each and every day and pride myself in being a life long learner. Besides being a 4th grade teacher, I am a daughter, sister, mother, and am proud to be a grandmother (MeeMee) to 4 beautiful grandchildren under 6 years of age. I am excited to be starting a new year and I am looking forward to being your child's fourth grade teacher. We will have a fabulous year! Archives
