It has been a great first week of school! We are working hard to establish structured routines which will be a part of our school day this year. I hope you have had a chance to read the Meet the Teacher Night hand out. Please call me if you have any questions or concerns. I appreciate all the parents who have offered to help in Room 13. I will be sending home notes to those parents so that we can get that part of the program started. We will begin our regular homework routine next week: Language Arts on Monday and Wednesday and Math on Tuesday and Thursday. Our spelling test will be given on Fridays. Nina AbbottI have been teaching 4th grade at Ridgeview for over 20 years! One important thing I have learned over the years is EVERYTHING CHANGES :) And I believe that is an important life skill to learn. I love my job! There is nothing better than spending the day with 9 and 10 year olds. I learn from my students each and every day and pride myself in being a life long learner. Besides being a 4th grade teacher, I am a daughter, sister, mother, and am proud to be a grandmother (MeeMee) to 4 beautiful grandchildren under 6 years of age.
