It has been a great first week of school! We are working hard to establish structured routines which will be a part of our school day this year. I hope you have had a chance to read the Meet the Teacher Night hand out. Please call me if you have any questions or concerns. I appreciate all the parents who have offered to help in Room 13. I will be sending home notes to those parents so that we can get that part of the program started. We will begin our regular homework routine next week: Language Arts on Monday and Wednesday and Math on Tuesday and Thursday. Our spelling test will be given on Fridays. I hope you all have a marvelous weekend!

Nina AbbottI have been teaching 4th grade at Ridgeview for over 20 years! One important thing I have learned over the years is EVERYTHING CHANGES :) And I believe that is an important life skill to learn. I love my job! There is nothing better than spending the day with 9 and 10 year olds. I learn from my students each and every day and pride myself in being a life long learner. Besides being a 4th grade teacher, I am a daughter, sister, mother, and am proud to be a grandmother (MeeMee) to 4 beautiful grandchildren under 6 years of age. I am excited to be starting a new year and I am looking forward to being your child's fourth grade teacher. We will have a fabulous year! Archives
